Savage is executive chairman of Bristol Chamber Commerce & Initiative. He is also the chair of the Western Harbour Advisory Group, and managing director of Business West. He stood as the metro mayor candidate in 2017 and as Labour’s candidate for Avon & Somerset police and crime commissioner election in 2012.
